Centurion to host Pro-Celebrity tournament

Centurion Club in Hertfordshire is staging a Pro-Celebrity event this Friday (June 5) that will see five tour pros – former Ryder Cup captains Thomas Bjorn and Paul McGinley, European Tour stars Tommy Fleetwood and Andrew Johnston, and Ladies European Tour player Carly Booth – play alongside a line up of celebrity amateurs, including Piers Morgan, Harry Kane, Peter Crouch, Freddie Flintoff and Jamie Redknapp.

The Paddy Power Golf Shoot Out is being held behind closed doors at the Hemel Hempstead-based venue, and consists of two parts – starting with a series of skills challenges on the golf courses, before culminating with a shootout.

The challenges include a live world record attempt, with the action being covered live from midday on bookmaker Paddy Power’s YouTube channel – as well as on Sky Sports News, talkSPORT, and Twitter.

The event, which is being presented by talkSPORT’s Georgie Bingham, is subject to a government-approved Covid-19 testing process, with all attendees, including the production crew, being tested before being permitted entry.
