Old Course Hotel shuts for major renovation
28 December 2016
The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa in Scotland is to shut for just over three months while it undergoes a major refurbishment.
The iconic St Andrews-based resort, which overlooks the Old Course, will be closed from January 2 until the middle of April while a wide range of construction works and interior renovations are carried out.
Among the new plans include a total bedroom upgrade, with new interiors, new windows, lighting and air conditioning; while an extension to the spa will see the building of a new lap pool and a gym.
The hotel will be closed to visitors during this time, although The Jigger Inn and Ham’s Hame restaurants and the Duke’s Golf Course and clubhouse, will remain open.
