MIZUNO LAUNCHES NEW JPX BALL
Mizuno is launching a new two-piece golf ball that promises all-round performance at a great price.
The JPX joins the JPX-s, JPX Platinum, and the tour-proven MP-S and MP-X models, in a comprehensive range of golf balls to suit the complete spectrum of golfers.
The new JPX ball features a larger, low-compression core – Mizuno’s softest to date in a two-piece golf ball – to generate explosive distance for golfers with low-to-mid swing speeds, while a durable multi-blend polymer cover working with the core to provide the soft feel required on those delicate shots around the green.
Mizuno’s unique micro-dimple cover, featuring 512 dimples, generates a mid-to-high trajectory, sustaining hang-time long into the ball’s descent for longer, more stable tee shots.
“The low compression core, in combination with our micro-dimples, means that the JPX ball offers an excellent combination of feel, ball speed and aerodynamics,” said Tomo Aoki, Mizunos’ director of product development. “Our two-piece ball has evolved to the point that the majority of players now couldn’t tell the difference between this and a tour type ball.”
The JPX ball has an RRP of £25 for 12.
